August 27th, 2008. A follow up investigation on Foxconn (Shenzhen) that took place in April 2008. “As a Foxconn worker, I cannot treat myself as a human being.”, said a worker at Foxconn.

August 21st, 2008. This statement shares CLW's perspective on Adidas response regarding CLW's recent release "Adidas, Real Winner of the 2008 Olympics".

August 18th, 2008. In China, there are more than two hundred factories employing over 250,000 workers that produce goods for Adidas. Among these factories, many are similar to the three documented in CLW's recent report, Chengda, Supercap ad Chang Ye Long , in treating their workers poorly. Though only three factories have been investigated from June to August, they suggest a broader pandemic of Adidas' poor practices in China.

August 11th, 2008. A statement in response to PUMA's comments on CLW's report, "PUMA's Failure in CSR; Supplier's Critical Conditions". CLW resents PUMA's denial on its supplier's conditions and offers deeper description of Surpassing's poor practice.

July 15th, 2008. Hantai Shoe Production Ltd. is a shoe supplier to Wal-Mart that employs about five thousand workers. At Hantai, overtime is compulsory; at the end of each month, workers inadequate preimum and are asked to signa fake pay stub to decieve the supplier's clients.

June 16th, 2008. A report on Surpassing Shoe Co., Ltd. describes the devastating conditions at the factory employs roughly 6,000 workers in the slow season and up to more than ten thousand workers during the peak season.

April 30th, 2008. Lever Style is a textile/garment factory that produces clothing for popular brand such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Cerruti 1881, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, J.Crew, John Varvatos, and Paul Smith. The report provides Lever Style Inc.'s work conditions and inputs the perspective of profit and wage comparison between a corporation and a regular worker. GAP Inc. has issued a public statement laying out their view towards the report.

March 2nd, 2008. Thousands of workers were laid off by their employer and recieved inadequate compensation. As a result, more than a thousand workers began to protest in front the of local government city hall. This incident will put the Chinese government to test on whether the new labor law can be implemented.

November 20th, 2007. China Labor Watch has released an investigation report focused on four apparel factories in China that were incapable of compliance with human rights and the Chinese labor law.

August 21st, 2007. China Labor Watch has just released a forty-one page report based on Chinese suppliers to multinational corporations. The report incorporates approximately eight toy factories, and the course of investigation is from December 2006 to August 2007. The reported factories are affiliated with Bandai, Chip Jap Co, LTD, Disney, E.Box and Eager, Fox TM, Gosh International, Hasbro, Meid LTD, Russ Berrie, Sanrio, Seeds Co. LTD, SEGA, Takara and etc.

August 6th, 2007. The statistic consists of the minimum wage standards of 2007, the 2006 average annual wage and unemployment insurance rate in selected provinces/municipalities/cities in China.

March 2007: This report is an extended research project following the 2005 one, “Crushed: A Survey of Work Injuries and Treatment in the Pearl River Delta”. It has two key components. The first part is a similar survey study based on interviews with 260 injured workers from the Shenzhen metropolitan area between May and November 2006. The purpose of this part is to identify some common characteristics shared by these work injury cases and injury victims. The second part is case studies that document and analyze the procedures to claim and receive work injury compensation based on actual cases that China Labor Watch’s field staff was involved with directly or provided legal assistance through collaboration with lawyers. The purpose of this part is to study a few typical work injury cases under a microscope in order to unearth common institutional and practical barriers migrant workers encounter in their complaint filing journey and to discuss possible and effective measures to address them. The length and difficulty of that process has given this report its title.
